Copper Beech was founded by Matt Hobbs in 2018 to define, create and operate ambitious hospitality destinations.
We work with owners, investors, developers, family offices and sovereign wealth funds across private members’ clubs, hotels, restaurants and hospitality-led destinations. Our work spans the full project lifecycle, from market opportunity, feasibility and positioning through membership strategy, financial modelling, F&B, design direction, pre-opening and long-term operation.
We bring operator instinct and investor discipline to the same table, combining cultural judgement, financial discipline and practical operating experience. The aim is to protect the original idea while making the business commercially resilient, operationally workable and culturally distinctive.
Our role is to connect every decision and remain accountable for the operating outcome, reducing execution risk and creating destinations designed to perform over the long term.
