At Cetos, our mission is to turn wastewater from a costly environmental challenge into a sustainable solution for freshwater scarcity.

Current water technology falls short in treating hypersaline brines from commercial processes, representing the largest consumers of freshwater today. Alarmingly, over 80% of wastewater is discharged untreated. This not only harms our environment but also represents a significant missed opportunity to reclaim and repurpose our increasingly scarce water resources.

With our novel membrane-less and non-evaporative solvent technology, we’re able to desalinate some of the most complex, concentrated wastewater streams, cost and energy-efficiently. Our technology can treat water 10x more concentrated than seawater, with customizable water recovery outcomes capturing the full spectrum including Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD).
