Private markets have grown into a multi-trillion-dollar asset class, yet performance measurement still relies on spreadsheets, inconsistent reporting, and narrative-driven decision making. Despite the scale and sophistication of the asset class, there is still no universally accepted framework for comparing performance across funds, vintages, and strategies.

Alt Indices exists to change that.

We are building the infrastructure layer for benchmarking across the full private-market ecosystem:

• Fund benchmarks for true peer comparison across vintage, strategy, size, and geography

• Deal benchmarks to evaluate access quality and selection skill

• Transaction benchmarks to assess pricing, timing, and terms

Our platform aggregates and standardizes fund-level data from multiple sources, offering a complete and comparable view of private-market performance. We apply quantitative rigor and transparent methodology, enabling evidence-based decisions for LPs, GPs, advisors, allocators, and regulators.

We are also developing automated reporting and emerging manager metrics to support fair evaluation and transparent performance narratives throughout the lifecycle of a fund.
